Plot summary
Dill Scallion lives in a small Texas town, where he drives a school bus. He wants to be a famous country and western singer. He sings from the heart, and he makes up his own dance, the Scallion Shuffle. His song "I Discovered Love at a Relative Gathering" becomes a chart-topper, and the record lifts him into the country music scene.
