Kevin Anderson
Biography
Kevin Anderson is an American actor, singer and drummer. Born January 13, 1960 in Gurnee, he studied acting for three years at DePaul University's Goodman School of Drama in Chicago. A member of the Steppenwolf Theatre Company, he won a Theatre World Award and a Joseph Jefferson Award for Lyle Kessler's Orphans and later repeated that role in the 1987 film. He originated the Balladeer and Lee Harvey Oswald in a staged reading of Stephen Sondheim's Assassins in 1989, then created Joe Gillis for the original London production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Sunset Boulevard. On television he earned a Golden Globe nomination for Nothing Sacred (1997) and starred in the miniseries The Hunt for the Unicorn Killer in 1999. His films include Miles from Home (1988), Sleeping with the Enemy (1991), and Charlotte's Web (2006), where he played Mr. Arable. He won a Drama Desk Award and a Tony nomination for the revival of Death of a Salesman.
