Trailer

Plot summary

Sam Lester cannot stand his roommates. They are disgusting, and they share none of his views on responsibility, privacy or basic hygiene. He agrees to take a share in the occupancy of another flat, where he gets two nights a week. The flat's owner is Brian, a soon-to-be-married man, and the third share belongs to Ellen Holder, a would-be painter who wants relief from her boring marriage. Brian and Ellen each have nights of their own there, so Sam and Ellen are never in the apartment at the same time. They know each other only through the notes they leave.
