Biography

Faizon Love, the Cuban-American actor and comedian, began performing stand-up at 15 and took his first acting job at 19 in an off-Broadway production. He was born in Santiago de Cuba and grew up in Southeast San Diego and Newark, New Jersey. His movie debut came with the animated comedy Bebe's Kids, where he voiced Robin Harris. He then appeared in The Meteor Man, his first live-action part, and Robert Townsend later cast him in a co-starring part on The Parent 'Hood. The role that made his name was Big Worm, a drug supplier, in Friday (1995). Later films included 3 Strikes (2000), The Replacements (2000), Elf (2003), Idlewild (2006), and Couples Retreat (2009). He voiced Sean Sweet Johnson in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004).
