Did you know?!Facts and trivia about Torque (2004)
Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- Director Joseph Kahn said his intention with Torque was to make a "piss take" version of the Fast & Furious franchise, even though both films were produced by Neal H. Moritz.
- Torque deliberately borrows a line from The Fast and the Furious: Martin Henderson's Cary Ford uses Vin Diesel's "I live my life a quarter-mile at a time", and Monet Mazur's Shane answers that it is the dumbest thing she has ever heard.
- Torque went on to acquire a cult following among sports-bike racers and enthusiasts, as well as racing film fans, and some appreciation for its over-the-top stunts, fast pace and stylish action sequences.
