Donna Biscoe

An American actress, Donna Biscoe was born in Fort Benning, Georgia, and was discovered by a casting agent while working as a flight attendant for Eastern Airlines in the 1980s. She trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and began acting in Atlanta plays, including A Boy King at the Atlanta Children's Theater. During the 1980s and 1990s she worked mostly in theater, with credits such as Doubt and Fences, while also taking early screen roles in Love Crimes (1992). From the 2000s she often played mothers and grandmothers, appearing in films like The Sacrament (2014), Hidden Figures (2016), and Night School (2018). On television she had recurring roles in Greenleaf and Ambitions and starred as Lady Leona Byrd in Saints & Sinners from 2017 until it ended in 2022. In 2024 she appeared in The Supremes at Earl's All-You-Can-Eat and The Six Triple Eight (2024).
