Reuniting the Rubins (2010) on Netflix

Plot summary

Lenny Rubin is an uptight lawyer who has retirement in sight. His mother, who is ailing, presses him to gather his grown children for the Jewish holiday of Pesach, and she is not above emotional blackmail to get her way. The four are estranged and live far apart in their outlooks: one son is a hard-nosed capitalist, one daughter campaigns for the environment, another son has become a Buddhist monk, and one more is a born-again rabbi. Lenny is reluctant about his own Jewishness. He puts his plans on hold and sets out to reach each of his children and bring them home for the holiday.
