Plot summary
Loretta Dalrymple comes to New York City from the country and finds work as a chambermaid in a large hotel, where the promoter Click Wiley and the photographer Ed Olson share a suite four weeks in arrears. To keep it, Ed combines the best features of several famous beauties into one photograph and enters the result in a nationwide contest under the name Dawn Glory. Dawn Glory wins, and the stunt pilot Bingo Nelson falls in love with the face. He proposes to her over national radio, and reporters crowd the hotel for interviews. Loretta, her hair and clothes now matching the picture, is put forward as the woman in it.
