CAST
  • Molly starts an app for busy people to find a plus-one without the romance of dating sites. An investor wants Molly to test the app, which forces her to join; the man the app selects has already bumped into Molly twice and not pleasantly.

  • "Mingle All the Way" is a new networking app designed to pair up busy professionals for upcoming events, without long-term romance. Molly (Jen Lilley), founder of the app, is determined to prove to her family that it is successful, so she joins the app and meets busy professional Jeff (Brant Daugherty). When Molly and Jeff are matched, they are both horrified to realize they've already had not one, but two disastrous previous encounters. Nevertheless, they agree to stay matched for all their respective upcoming holiday engagements. As the pair gets closer, perhaps their business arrangement might turn into something more this holiday season.

  • Gentle advertising executive Jeff Scanlon needs a date to attend the (Christmas) parties of his family-minded boss, in order to be considered for a promotion across the country rather then his younger, devious but untalented successor as creative writer. He blindly selects Molly Hoffman via a specialized 'non-relational networking partner matching' app, unaware she created it and was forced to test it herself to convince a major investor for her tech startup, leaving the profile and selection to her business-minded deputy. They go ahead, despite an instant dislike form their accidental earlier meeting, squabbling over the same toy as Christmas present. Their 'fake' dates go great for each, and Jeff's charm and philanthropy soon win sympathy even with utterly unromantic Molly. They might even date for real, but then misunderstandings and accidental revelations compromise the trust.
