Lindsay Wagner
Biography
Lindsay Wagner is an American actress who began acting professionally in 1971, signing with Universal Studios as a contract player. Born in Los Angeles and raised in Portland, Oregon, she made her prime-time debut on Adam-12. In 1973 she took her first feature lead in Two People and played the law professor's daughter in The Paper Chase (1973). She first appeared as Jaime Sommers on The Six Million Dollar Man in 1975, and that role led to The Bionic Woman, which she headlined from 1976 to 1978. In 1977 she won an Emmy for her leading dramatic performance, the first such award for a science fiction series. After the show ended, she acted mainly in television films and miniseries. She had a small part in Ricochet (1991) and later had a recurring role on Warehouse 13. She also voiced a character in the video game Death Stranding and starred in Christmas at the Ranch (2021).
