Biography
Rebecca Staab is an American actress who was born in Hays, Kansas, and began her career as a professional model in Paris and New York before turning to acting with a role as the punk-rocker Cecelia Thompson on the ABC series Loving, followed by the part of Jessie Matthews on The Guiding Light. She went on to series regular work as Sherry Beck on Live Shot, Daphne Collins on Dark Shadows, Ellen Sommers on Trade Winds and Elizabeth Barrington on Port Charles. She played Susan Storm in the first film adaptation of The Fantastic Four (1994), took the title role in A House on a Hill and appeared in Love Potion No. 9 (1992) and A Perfect Ending (2012). Her television credits include guest roles on Cheers, Seinfeld, Dexter, Glee, Criminal Minds and The Mentalist. She studied with Uta Hagen at HB Studios in New York and with Larry Moss in Los Angeles.
