Plot summary
The White House gets a new dog when Max arrives to fill in for the Secret Service dog, who is on maternity leave. Max meets T.J., the twelve-year-old son of President Thomas Bennett Sr., who is trying to fit in and live a normal life. When the Russian president arrives on a state visit with his daughter Alexandra, known as Alex, T.J. is asked to keep her company during their stay. The two become friends. They then slip out of the White House to find a party thrown by T.J.'s new friends, and two masked men try to seize them.
