Plot summary
Pop sessions, classical recordings and film scores have all been made at Abbey Road in London, and the musicians who have worked in its rooms recall their time there. Their memories, gathered in interviews, run through the decades the building has been in use, and the filmmakers were given access to the premises. Some contributors describe the records they made inside; the interviews also press them on what the place means to them and whether it matters beyond the songs. The project was put together to mark the studio's ninetieth anniversary, celebrated in November 2022, and it premiered at the Telluride Film Festival before reaching streaming audiences in the United States and the United Kingdom.
