Trailer

Plot summary

Sound City Studios operated in Van Nuys, California, from 1969 until it stopped taking commercial work in 2011. It housed a rare analog Neve 8028 mixing console, the work of Rupert Neve, the founder of Neve Electronics. Much of the studio's reputation came from its drum sound, credited to the shape of its rooms and to the console. Nirvana made Nevermind there in 1991, one of many platinum albums recorded at the studio. After the console was purchased, it was moved to a private studio.
