Plot summary
Sarah, an introverted young woman, works at a crafts store and lives with her roommate Nikki. Her mother died by suicide. On her birthday Sarah is home by herself when Nikki arrives, and Nikki asks Brian, her boyfriend, and Darren, Brian's roommate, to come over for a double date. They drink and smoke marijuana, and Sarah's nose begins to bleed. That night Sarah dreams of lying face up in a white room, with a man and a woman stretched out nearby. In the morning Nikki finds Sarah asleep on the living room floor and deep scratches across the wall. Darren returns for his car and invites Sarah on a date. At work her nose bleeds again, and she notices Ron, a man on the street who looks like the man she dreamed about.
