Plot summary
Becky Something is the lead vocalist of the punk band Something She. After a show, she goes backstage for a brief ceremony with her shaman while her bandmates, her ex-husband Danny, her manager Howard Goodman and a former musical collaborator try to steer her toward recording a new album, playing more shows and finding stability for her child. Her mood swings from happy to aggressive during the encounter, and her infant is with her there. Months later the band is in a studio, working without a clear plan on the next record. Ali van der Wolff and Marielle Hell leave, and Howard tries to clear the space for his other act, Akergirls, while Becky refuses to go.
