Plot summary
The sled runs at the Arctic Blast Delivery Service belong to a husky crew called the Top Dogs, and Swifty, an Arctic fox, only sorts mail in the mailroom. He wants a place on that crew. To prove himself, he takes a sled and carries a mysterious package to a secret location, where he finds a hidden fortress run by Otto Von Walrus, who keeps an army of oddly polite puffin henchmen. Otto means to drill under the snow and release ancient gas that would melt the Arctic and make him the world's supreme ruler. Swifty asks his friends for help: P.B., a neurotic polar bear, Lemmy, a scatterbrained albatross, Jade, a red fox engineer, Leopold and Bertha, two conspiracy theorist otters, and Magda, his curmudgeonly caribou boss.
