Laurie Holden

Laurie Holden is an American-Canadian actress and producer who was born in Los Angeles and raised in Toronto. She studied economics and political science at McGill University before earning a degree in theater and film from UCLA in 1993, where she received the Natalie Wood Acting Award. Early screen roles included Physical Evidence (1989) opposite Burt Reynolds and Young Catherine (1991) with Vanessa Redgrave. She gained notice as Marita Covarrubias on The X-Files from 1996 to 2002, and she starred opposite Jim Carrey in The Majestic (2001), which brought her critical acclaim. Her film work includes Silent Hill (2006), The Mist (2007), Fantastic Four (2005), Dumb and Dumber To (2014), Pyewacket (2017), and Dragged Across Concrete (2019). On television she played Andrea on The Walking Dead from 2010 to 2013, winning a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2013 after a 2011 nomination. She later appeared on The Americans and The Boys, playing Crimson Countess in 2022.
