Plot summary
Airwolf is a high-tech helicopter built for a government agency known as The Firm, and its creator, Dr. Charles Henry Moffet, takes the aircraft to Libya. Michael Coldsmith Briggs III, codenamed Archangel, oversaw the project and needs it back. He turns to Stringfellow Hawke, a former Vietnam pilot and a loner who is the only other person able to fly the machine. Hawke sets a price for the job: the agency must learn what happened to his brother, unaccounted for since Vietnam. Hawke and his friend Dominic fly into the Middle East, and the mission puts them in the middle of violence there.
