Tina Chen
Biography
Tina Chen is a Chinese-American actress, director and producer who was born in Chongqing and lived as a child in mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan before settling in the United States. She starred in the films Alice's Restaurant (1969), The Hawaiians (1970), which earned her a Golden Globe nomination, and Three Days of the Condor (1975), and she appeared on television in Airwolf. Her performance in the CBS Playhouse drama The Final War of Olly Winter brought an Emmy nomination. In New York she has acted on stage and directed plays, among them Fairy Bones for the Pan Asian Repertory Theatre, which gave Lucy Liu her stage debut. She was also part of the producing team behind the Broadway productions of The Rink, nominated for a Drama Desk award, and Passion Play.
