Deborah Pratt

Deborah Pratt is an American actress, director, writer and television producer who grew up in Chicago and began her performing career on Chicago stages. A nationwide search led to an NBC contract, and she was a singer and dancer with The Golddiggers on The Dean Martin Show. She later performed with Gene Kelly and Donald O'Connor, toured with Debbie Reynolds, and appeared in television series such as Magnum, P.I., Happy Days, Benson and Airwolf (1984). Her film work includes Last Rites (1988), Exit to Eden, and Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone (1983), a cult classic. After writing episodes of Magnum, P.I. and Airwolf, she became co-creator, executive producer and head writer of Quantum Leap, and supplied its narration and the voice of Ziggy. She went on to executive produce Tequila and Bonetti, develop and run The Net, and make her directing debut with Cora Unashamed. She has received five Emmy Award nominations.
