Plot summary
Abby wants to celebrate Rebecca's 50th birthday with a weekend in Napa, even though Rebecca would rather keep things low-key. Abby, Rebecca and four women they have known since their days as waitresses in a pizzeria stay together in the wine country. Abby draws up a strict schedule and expects everyone to follow it rather than relax and drink. Each friend arrives with troubles of her own: Rebecca's inattentive husband, Naomi's wait for test results, Catherine's sense that the group is cutting her out, Val's search for love and Jenny's unhappiness. At an expensive restaurant, Val flirts with their waitress, Jade.
