Plot summary
Burt Gummer returns to Perfection, Nevada, after hunting Shriekers in Argentina. The town has changed since the Graboid attacks: it has become a tourist attraction, Nancy Sterngood and her daughter Mindy still live there, Miguel has stayed, and the market once run by Walter Chang belongs to his niece Jodi. Melvin Plug now sells real estate and wants to build new homes in Perfection, while Jack Sawyer runs pretend Graboid hunts for paying visitors. Burt's home is fortified against Graboids and Shriekers. When a real Graboid surfaces during one of Jack's tours, the residents move to kill it, but government agents Charlie Rusk and Frank Statler and the paleontologist Dr. Andrew Merliss stop them, claiming the Graboids are an endangered species. Jack arranges a deal: capture one alive, and the town may kill the other two.

Did you know?!Facts and trivia about Tremors 3: Back to Perfection (2001)
Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- Tremors 3: Back to Perfection was the first film in the Tremors series to create its graboids with CGI; the earlier films had used full-sized puppets and quarter-scale miniatures for the creatures.
- Software compatibility issues meant the shrieker CGI from Tremors 2: Aftershocks could not be reused, so new digital models were built by HimAnI productions from laser scans of the physical shrieker models created by ADI.
