Biography
Jaime Pressly is an American actress and model who began in modeling before turning to screen acting. Born in Kinston, North Carolina, she moved from guest spots on television to films such as Inferno (1999), and in 2001 appeared in three theatrical releases aimed at teenage audiences, among them Not Another Teen Movie, Joe Dirt and Tomcats, which brought her wider exposure. Her breakthrough came with the role of Joy Turner on My Name Is Earl, the NBC sitcom that ran from 2005 to 2009 and won her a Primetime Emmy Award for supporting work in a comedy series, along with Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild nominations. Later credits include Horton Hears a Who! (2008), I Love You, Man (2009), A Haunted House 2 (2014) and Finders Keepers (2014). She played Jill Kendall on the CBS sitcom Mom from 2014 to 2021, earning a Critics' Choice Television Award nomination.
