Taxi (2004) on Netflix

Plot summary

Belle Williams hustles as a bicycle courier in New York until she earns her taxi license and fits a supercharger into a custom Ford Crown Victoria. Her first fare pays a $100 tip to reach the airport in fifteen minutes, and she makes it. Belle's real ambition is to race cars. Detective Andy Washburn crashes a car during a pursuit, and Lieutenant Marta Robbins, his ex-girlfriend, sends him to foot patrol. When a bank is robbed by four Brazilian women, Washburn flags down Belle's cab and follows their BMW. Police arrest the pair by mistake, impound the taxi and question Belle. Washburn offers to get the cab back if she helps him with the robbery case.
