Plot summary
Twenty-five years of marriage are being celebrated in Palm Springs, where Mal and Cal have come for her parents' vow renewal. Over the weekend the younger couple learns what the older one credits for a marriage that has lasted, and the answer is threesomes. Mal and Cal decide their own re-engagement deserves a celebration of the same kind, so they set out for a night in search of a third person to join them. The night takes an intense turn, and the strain surfaces problems the trip was not meant to raise, leaving the two of them to work out whether they still fit together.
