Beck Bennett

Biography

Beck Bennett is an American actor and comedian who performed with sketch groups before spending eight seasons on Saturday Night Live. Born in Wilmette, Illinois, a Chicago suburb, he joined Commedus Interruptus in 2003 and later formed Good Neighbor with Kyle Mooney, Nick Rutherford, and Dave McCary, a troupe whose sketches drew praise from Louis C.K. and Steven Spielberg. He created the satirical talk show Fresh Perspectives in 2011, which led to the AT&T commercials where he interviewed children. Bennett joined Saturday Night Live in 2013 as a featured player, became a repertory performer, and left at the end of the 2021 season. His screen work includes the independent film Balls Out (2014) and the 2025 film Superman, and he has voiced Eric in The Mitchells vs. the Machines (2021), Sterling in Fixed (2025), Launchpad McQuack in DuckTales, and Hamster in Hamster & Gretel.
