Plot summary
After two years examining the destruction of CIA interrogation videotapes, Daniel Jones is chosen in 2009 by Dianne Feinstein, who chairs the Senate Intelligence Committee, to examine how the agency used enhanced interrogation techniques. He and a team of six read through six million pages of CIA material inside a secure room at a CIA site. The records show that the agency contracted two psychologists, James Elmer Mitchell and Bruce Jessen, in 2002 to instruct its personnel in those methods.
