Plot summary
A law signed by President Cleveland allows land in the Cherokee Strip of the Oklahoma Territory to be sold. The purchase money arrives by train and is loaded onto a stagecoach, which Whip McCord's gang robs. The outlaw called the Oklahoma Kid takes the money from McCord. Settlers gather for the Land Run of 1893, and McCord stakes ground reserved for a new town ahead of the run. He gives it up for control of gambling and saloons, and Tulsa grows on the site.
