Plot summary
Clint Gray smuggles wild animals, and police chase him until his van goes into a lake. He is arrested, and nobody knows that the bull shark he was carrying is loose in the water. His young daughter Carly is left in the care of Meredith Hernandez, the sheriff of the town on the lake. Five years on, Gray is out on parole and the shark has grown in the freshwater. When it attacks, the police suspect a bear and kill a bear in the area. Professor Peter Mayes doubts that and dives for proof of a shark. Meredith brings his evidence to the beach to warn people.
