The Final Storm (2010) on Netflix

Plot summary

A severe thunderstorm brings a stranger named Silas Hendershot to the farm owned by Tom and Gillian Grady, and he takes shelter there. Silas claims he should stay, saying the three should look out for one another. Tom takes a dislike to him and becomes suspicious of his past, and he goes to the police station in town to look for records about Silas. The town is deserted, its flyers announcing a mandatory evacuation because of the storm. Silas talks about the end of the world and the rapture, which he gives as the explanation for the empty town and for the armed looters who roam it.
