Plot summary
Justin and Aaron Smith left Camp Arcadia as boys a decade ago. A video cassette from the group proves its members are still alive. Their memories of the place differ: Aaron recalls a friendly commune, while Justin calls it a UFO death cult and fears that talk of ascension is code for a mass suicide. Without friends or steady work since leaving, the brothers agree to visit for one day. The camp lies in woods outside San Diego, and the welcome is warm. Nobody there seems to have aged in the decade since. Anna takes an interest in Aaron and Lizzy in Justin; Aaron enjoys the attention and Justin keeps his distance. Hal shows Justin a physics equation he cannot explain.
