Plot summary
Mike Milch and Barry Norris work at Belko Industries in Bogotá, Colombia. Barry is the chief operating officer and a former special forces soldier, while Mike is an employee. New hire Dany Wilkins learns on her first day that every employee has a tracking device implanted at the base of the skull in case of kidnapping. When the staff arrive, unfamiliar guards turn away local Colombian workers at the gate. Once everyone is inside, a voice over the intercom tells them to kill two coworkers within thirty minutes or face consequences. Steel shutters seal the building, trapping all eighty employees. Most take the announcement as a prank and refuse to act.
