Biography
Adria Arjona is an American actress who was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and raised in Mexico City. She started out in small television parts, playing Emily in the second season of True Detective and Dani Silva in Person of Interest, then took the lead as Dorothy Gale in Emerald City and played Anathema Device in Good Omens. She later appeared as Bix Caleen in Andor and had a starring role in 6 Underground (2019). In Morbius (2022) she played Martine Bancroft, and she led the Father of the Bride remake (2022) with Andy Garcia. She starred alongside Glen Powell in Hit Man (2023), which critics praised, produced and starred in Los Frikis, and appeared in Blink Twice (2024), Zoë Kravitz's directing debut. Her work in Splitsville was praised at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.

Early training
Arjona studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City, where she supported herself waiting tables and working as a hostess.
Big break
In December 2018, Arjona began talks to portray Martine Bancroft, the female lead in the Sony spinoff Morbius, and by the end of January her casting was set. Daniel Espinosa, the film's director, thought she was perfect for the part.

Arjona produced and starred in Los Frikis, a drama film, in October 2021. Tyler Nilson and Michael Schwartz wrote and directed it.
