Plot summary
Frank Tate commands an LAPD SWAT unit whose members are Tony Hunt, Jannard and Blanco. A grocery store robbery ends with the hostages safe, but the squad's methods cause heavy property damage and upset the owner, so their superior orders them into retraining they treat as a joke. Elsewhere, the Russians Ilya Kalashnikova and Demetrius drag their prisoner Kenny to a warehouse beyond the city and tell him to hand over something he stashed there. Lampone and Storato, of the Italian mafia, come to the same place for the same prize, and the two sides collide. Tate's squad arrives for practice, firing blanks, with no idea who else is inside. The gangs stay out of sight and their own standoff sharpens.
