Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation (2004) on Netflix

Plot summary

A squad of Federation troops is trapped on a world held by Arachnids. General Jack Shepherd and four soldiers hold the line so the rest can escape, among them Sergeant Dede Rake, Lieutenant Pavlov Dill, Private Jill Sandee, Private Duff Horton and Private Lei Sahara. Dust storms and ambushes leave the survivors without communications, and they take shelter in Hotel Delta 1-8-5, an abandoned outpost. In a cell there they find Captain V. J. Dax, held for killing his commanding officer while awaiting court-martial, and Dill, plagued by visions of annihilation, struggles to lead the group. With warrior bugs massing outside, pulse fences running on limited battery power keep them at bay, and Dax takes charge, to the annoyance of Dill.
