Bailey acted in school plays and had a passing interest in acting, but planned to become a biologist. Watching a Dawson's Creek behind-the-scenes special, which included an interview with Katie Holmes, showed her acting could be a career.

  5. First role

Bailey's first major part was Kid Trunks on Dragon Ball Z, voiced raspily. She first tried to do the role while in college, but on her lecturer's advice she quit attending to focus on voice acting.
