Kevin Rankin
Biography
Kevin Rankin is an American actor who built a career largely in television, known for playing Herc in Friday Night Lights, Tyler Briggs in Trauma, Roe Sanders in Unforgettable, Kenny in Breaking Bad and Derek Lennox, called Devil, in Justified. Born in Baton Rouge, he first aimed at stunt work after watching The Fall Guy, until he realized the show's stuntman hero was played by an actor, Lee Majors. He began with an appearance on Unsolved Mysteries and a small part in the drama The Apostle (1997), then worked steadily on series including Buffy the Vampire Slayer, NYPD Blue and Philly, and starred as Doc in eleven episodes of My Guide to Becoming a Rock Star in 2002. Longer runs followed on Undeclared, Six Feet Under and State of Mind, and he held a main role in Unforgettable from 2011 to 2012 before playing Bryce Hussar in the TNT drama Claws.
