Plot summary
Ray Bradstone is the driver his old bank-robbing crew calls when it needs a quick exit. He has decided to give up crime, put his daughter Sally first, and make peace with Lynne, his ex-wife. Honest work is hard to come by, and Phillip Larue, who leads the crew, brings him an offer of one final robbery. Ray says yes at first, then pulls out, so the thieves have no driver, and he signs on to chaperone Sally's class field trip instead.
