Jake Lacy
Biography
Jake Lacy is an American actor who moves between comedy and drama on television and in film. Raised in Pittsford, Vermont, he studied at the North Carolina School of the Arts, graduating in 2008, and his first starring television role came in the ABC sitcom Better with You, which ran from 2010 to 2011. He went on to play Pete Miller in the last season of The Office, then appeared in Girls, Fosse/Verdon and High Fidelity. Playing an entitled real estate agent in the first season of The White Lotus (2021) brought him a Primetime Emmy nomination for outstanding supporting actor in a limited series. He later took dramatic parts in A Friend of the Family (2022), Apples Never Fall (2024) and All Her Fault (2025). His films include Obvious Child (2014), Carol (2015), How to Be Single (2016), Rampage (2018), Being the Ricardos (2021) and The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial (2023).
