Plot summary
Ribbit is a poison dart frog in the Amazon rainforest. Water repels him, he has no wish to hop, and nothing about him matches the frogs around him. The questions he cannot answer about his own life are what push him to leave. His closest companion is Sandy, a flying squirrel, and she travels at his side. Together they make their way through the jungle, and Ribbit searches for the truth about himself. Along the route they come across an assortment of other creatures, some friendly and some not, and he keeps looking for the place he is meant to hold in the world.
