Plot summary
Grace MacCaullay survives the Le Domas family's attempted sacrificial ritual and collapses outside the property. She is taken to a hospital, where she is reunited with Faith, her younger sister, from whom she has been estranged since college. News of the Le Domas deaths reaches the Council, which gathers at the Danforth complex to play another game. Le Bail's representative, the Lawyer, lays out the terms: the Council family that kills Grace before dawn wins the High Seat and a ring granting infinite worldwide power. Grace refuses to play until Faith's life is put at stake, and the eldest members sign a blood oath. Handcuffed together, the sisters begin on a golf course.

- Directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett were already developing an original film about sisters for Kathryn Newton and Samara Weaving when Searchlight Pictures asked them to direct a Ready or Not sequel; they offered to fold that sister story into the Ready or Not universe, and Searchlight agreed.
