Plot summary

Roger, a blue heeler in Robotic City, wants chicken drumsticks, but he ends up distributing cat food to stray animals in an alley. When he tries to find food for himself, Belle, a Siamese cat, discovers him and reacts with hostility. Her owner appears and says mice have gotten into her perfume again, which forces Roger to run. He returns to his makeshift home atop an apartment building and becomes friends with a talkative robot who lives in the city. Roger is taken to Pampered Pets, where he meets various other animals. Those pets are on a mission to halt the chaos. A robot takeover has disrupted their city, and Roger and Belle are thrown together.
