Plot summary
Paul Potts is a shy shop assistant at a Carphone Warehouse, where Braddon works beside him and Hydrangea is Braddon's girlfriend. Matthew has bullied Paul throughout his childhood. Away from the counter, Paul performs opera as an amateur. His mother Yvonne and his father Roland are part of his life, and a choirmaster is his mentor. Julz is his wife.
