Plot summary
The Paramount Theater in Seattle hosts Nirvana on Halloween night in 1991, weeks into a nationwide tour of clubs and small theaters that follows the release of Nevermind. The Seattle date is a homecoming for the band. The nineteen-song set draws on Bleach and Nevermind, among them "Smells Like Teen Spirit," "Lithium," "Breed," "School," "Love Buzz" and "About a Girl," plus a cover of the Vaselines' "Jesus Doesn't Want Me For A Sunbeam" and an early version of "Rape Me." It is the only Nirvana concert recorded on 16mm film, and its sound was remixed for 5.1 surround and stereo from the original multi-track recordings.
