Plot summary
Dallas, a vampire, returns to Los Angeles after twenty years of exile and looks up his old circle: Ulrike, Vincent, Richard and Richard's wife Panthia, who take him for a night out at a club run by The Count. The Count, who runs the city's club scene, is angry that Dallas keeps turning people without his permission and warns him to leave town. The most recent of those turnings is Nico, a young serial killer who picked Dallas as a victim and became his lover once each recognized what the other was. Dallas's friends, afraid of The Count, urge him to get rid of her. Dr. Van Helsing, a Viennese vampire hunter too old to work alone, advertises for help and hires Time Bomb, a Crips member who does not believe in vampires but will kill for money.
