Plot summary

Harry Balbo is stuck in an office job and has little social life. One night he witnesses a vampiress attack someone and decides she must be destroyed. In his research he reads that vampires come down from the succubus. He builds a cell in the basement of his condo building and catches the vampiress, Tatiana. Rather than kill her, he keeps her alive, feeding her rabbits bought from pet stores while she insists that only human blood will do; the human blood he orders online she refuses. He also meets Strickland, an army veteran in a wheelchair whose battalion was wiped out by vampires, and who has tracked them ever since.
