Plot summary
Tim Heidecker reviews movies on an online series before turning to electronic music and organizing a festival. When twenty people die and 156 are hospitalized after using faulty e-cigarettes sold there, he is charged with murder. A hung jury ends the case, and he decides to run for San Bernardino County district attorney even though he is not a lawyer and does not live in the county. His target is Vincent Rosetti, the prosecutor who brought the charges. Toni Newman, the only juror who voted not guilty, becomes his campaign manager and helps him gather signatures for a third-party ballot spot.
