Plot summary
Based on true events, at Booker High School, Principal Donna Weller punishes students who express themselves. Monica Rose is suspended for wearing condoms on her outfit during Spirit Week to promote safe sex, and Lawrence Reitzer is suspended for kissing another boy in the hallway. Holden Donovan and his love interest, Charlotte Pratt, decide to act. A teacher, Mr. Will Drucker, encourages them, and Holden gathers classmates including Chuck McGinn, Katie Carmichael, Emily Chua, Walanda Jenkins, Kelly Stepford and Dementia. They pass out condoms and stage walk-outs. Meanwhile, Weller is campaigning for State School Superintendent, a post that would extend her authority beyond the school.
