Plot summary
After a semester apart at college, Spencer Gilpin, Martha Kaply, Anthony "Fridge" Johnson and Bethany Walker plan a Christmas reunion. Unhappy at college in New York, Spencer has put his relationship with Martha on hold. Back home, he finds his grandfather Eddie recovering from hip surgery in his room, and Eddie tells him life only goes downhill after college. Spencer digs out the broken pieces of the Jumanji game and repairs it, then disappears. His friends find the game running in his basement and go in after him, and Eddie and his estranged friend Milo Walker are pulled in too. Inside, Martha is Ruby Roundhouse and Fridge is Professor Shelly Oberon, while Eddie and Milo land in the bodies of Bravestone and Franklin "Mouse" Finbar. Guide Nigel Billingsley sends them after the Falcon Jewel, stolen by Jurgen the Brutal.
